CloningTime for this effect: less than three minutes 
We wanted to remove the power line, and the people walking in front. Instructions 1) We went to Retouch and selected Clone.2) We pressed the Sample button. We clicked the mouse (now a cross hair) on the sky near the wire to lock in the sampled area. The sample crosshair indicates what will be cloned. The brush will apply that sampled area over whatever is painted. 3) We scaled the brush to a size wider than the wire but not much more and made the opacity 100%. 4) Then we simply brushed over the wire. 5) To remove the people from the image, we pressed the sample button and placed the crosshair exactly at the edge of the fence where it's clear and clicked to take the sample. 6) Then to line it up, we pressed and held down the Alt key while we aligned the crosshair in the similar part of the fence in front of the people and released Alt. 7) Lastly, keeping the brush lined up, we brushed over the people replacing them with the clear part of the fence and the people disappeared. |
