I Installed UpShot 1.0 over a beta version and now it doesn’t work, how do I fix it?

It has come to our attention that many users who installed UpShot 1.0 over the beta version are experiencing difficulty running UpShot. Please follow the instructions below to make sure your software is running properly.

1. Click the Start menu, select Settings --> Control Panel --> Add or Remove Programs (Uninstalling through the UpShot folder on the program menu will not work in this case.)
2. You will find two instances of UpShot listed
3. Uninstall each version using the Remove button
4. Re-install UpShot 1.0

If you were using the latest beta version (0.9.7 RC4*) your previous edits will be preserved and an automatic re-indexing will begin when you browse your UpShot folders for the first time.

* You can find your version number in UpShot by going to the "help" menu and choosing "about".
